Breakfast Burritos
When you’re in the mood for a south-of-the-border breakfast, you and your family will love this breakfast burrito recipe!
Servings: 4 (2 burritos per serving) | Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
½ lb Payton’s Taco Meat®
8 corn or small flour tortillas
6 eggs
¼ cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded Mexican blend or monterey jack shredded cheese
1 dash hot sauce or amount to taste (optional)
½ cup salsa
Instructions

Prepare Payton’s Taco Meat in your microwave or over your stove.

While your meat is heating, heat a large skillet over medium heat on the stove for the eggs. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Grease the heated skillet with cooking spray and pour the eggs in.

Cook the eggs until they are almost firm. Then, add the prepared Payton’s Taco Meat to the egg mixture and continue cooking until the eggs are finished.

Heat the tortillas in your microwave or in a skillet.

Add meat and egg mixture to each tortilla and top with cheese, salsa, and hot sauce. Then, roll each tortilla and its contents into a burrito.
